Human IGF-II (Receptor Grade), recombinant protein
Insulin-like Growth Factor-II, human, Synonyms: insulin like growth factor-2, IGF-2, Somatomedin A, ILGF2, T3M-11-derived growth factor,
Product Specifications Human IGF-II:
The Product: Human insulin-like growth factor-II (IGF-II) is a 67amino acid polypeptide that stimulates growth and differentiationin many cell types.
Source: IGF-II is synthesized in E. coli using a patented expression system and harvested from the cells as inclusion bodies. The inclusion bodies are dissolved, desalted, the IGF-II is correctly folded under oxidising conditions and then a short leader peptide is cleaved from the peptide product. Several liquid chromatography purification steps are employed to yield receptor grade IGF-II.
