Recombinant bovine IGF Binding Protein-2 (bIGFBP-2) is a 284 amino acid protein that is a member of a family of six high affinity IGF binding proteins. These binding proteins have an important role in stabilizing and regulating the activity of IGFs in vivo. Bovine IGFBP-2 is able to bind both IGF-I and IGF-II.
