Description: Clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with fragment of rat proinsulin conjugated with a carrier protein.
Specificity: Rat proinsulin
Isotypes: IgG1 for Clones CCI-10 and CCI-17, IgG2b for Clone CCI-3.
Applications: All Clones recognize rat proinsulin in ELISA and Sandwich type immunoassay. Clones bind specifically to proinsulin and do not bind to insulin or C-peptide. For sandwich immunoassay it is recommended to use Clones in pairs with Clones specific to N-terminal part of C-peptides I and II (see also the data sheet for Product Code: MABI).
