Human/bovine IGFBP-2 antiserum is a polyclonal antiserum raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 270-284 (Zapf, J. (1995) Eur. J. Endocrinol. 132, 645-654) of human IGFBP-2. This antiserum is suitable for use in ELISA and for Western blotting and should find application for immunohistochemistry.

Appearance: White powder
Specificity: No cross-reactivity is found with human IGFBP-1, human or monkey IGFBP-3 or human IGFBP-4.
Titre:Can be used at a dilution of 1/5,000 in ELISA. Half-maximal inhibition (ED50) is produced by 18 ng hIGFBP-2 / 100µl. For Western blotting use a dilution of 1/1,000, when bovine IGFBP-2 can be detected.
Reconstitution: Dissolve in 100 µl sterile water. Dilute in a suitable buffer solution appropriate for the desired application.
Storage/Stability: At least 2 years at 2 -4°C (lyophilised). After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
