Clones: 1H1, XM212
Description: clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with conjugate of purified thyroxine (Sigma T-2501) with BSA.
Specificity: Thyroxine (T4). Clones react with conjugate T4-BSA and with free thyroxine in ELISA. Cross-reactivity with triiodothyronine (Sigma T-2752) is less than 1%.
The reactivity of the Clone XM212 with L-thyroxine is 100 % and with D-thyroxine 30 %.
Isotypes: IgG for Clone XM212; IgG1 for Clone 1H1.
Applications: ELISA.
Purification: 1H1 by chromatography on protein A Sepharose, XM212 by ion exchange chromatography.
Formulation: 1H1 in PBS, pH 7.4, < 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3). XM212 in 0.15 M NaCl, 10 mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.05 % of sodium azide (NaN3).
Storage: 1H1 at + 4 °C. XM212 at + 4 °C (<10 months) or at - 20 °C (for longer period).
