Clones: 5E6, 5F9, 12G9, 11A16, 5G4, 6A6
Description: Clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with thyroglobulin from human thyroid gland.
Specificity: Clones specifically recognize human thyroglobulin and do not interfere with anti-thyroglobulin autoantibodies. Clone 5F9 cross-reacts with bovine thyroglobulin. Clone 12G9 cross-reacts with bovine, pig, cat, rat, dog and mouse thyroglobulins.
Isotypes:
IgG1 for Clones 5G4 and 6A6;
IgG2a for Clones 5F9 and 11A16;
IgG2b for Clone 5E6;
IgM for Clone 12G9.
Applications: Detection of human thyroglobulin in two-site enzyme immunoassay.
Recommended pairs (coating – conjugate):
11A16 – 5G4, 11A16 – 6A6, 5F9 – 5E6.
Purification: Chromatography on protein G Sepharose.
Formulation: PBS, pH 7.4, < 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3).
