Human IGFBP-6 antiserum is a polyclonal antiserum raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 90-104 (Zapf, J. (1995) Eur. J. Endocrinol. 132, 645-654) of human IGFBP-6. This antiserum is suitable for use for ELISA and Western blotting and should find application in immunohistochemistry.

Appearance: White powder
Specificity: The antiserum is specific for human IGFBP-6. No crossreactivity is found with human IGFBPs 1-5.
Titre:Can be used at a dilution of 1/5,000 for ELISA. Half-maximal inhibition (ED50) is produced by 30 ng hIGFBP-6 / 100µl. For Western blotting use a dilution of 1/1, 000.
Reconstitution: Dissolve in water or a suitable buffer solution appropriate for the desired application.
Storage/Stability: At least 2 years at 2 -4°C (lyophilised). After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
