The product: Anti-human IGF-Binding protein 5 IgG (IgG-1) fraction is a monoclonal antibody produced in mouse and elicited to human recombinant IGF-binding Protein 5 (yeast derived recombinant protein). It is purified by affinity chromatography using Protein G. The respective epitope, on IGF-BP5, recognized by this antibody has not yet been determined.
Biological Activity: This monoclonal antibody strongly recognizes human IGFBP-5 on ELISA or Western blot analysis. It does not present cross-reactivity to other IGFBP's on a Western blot analysis (1/100 dilution).
Working dilution for western blot: 1 : 1000 - 1 : 2500
Storage: 1 year at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Formulation: IgG fraction (IgG-1) in liquid. 100 µg at 0.1 mg/ml. Formulated in 0.1 M Tris-HCl, pH 7.5.
