Anti-human IGFBP-3 antiserum is a polyclonal antiserum raised against a synthetic peptide of unique sequence from the central domain of human IGFBP-3. This antiserum is suitable for EIA and Western blotting.

Specificity:100% crossreactivity is found with monkey IGFBP-3. No crossreactivity is found with human IGFBP-1,-2,-4,-5 and -6.

Titre: Can be used at a dilution of 1/35,000 in EIA. Half-maximal inhibition (ED50) of ligand binding is produced by 24 ng hIGFBP-3 / 100 µl. For Western blotting the antiserum can be used at a dilution of 1/1,000.Reconstitution: Dissolve in 100 µl sterile water.Storage/Stability: At least 2 years at 2 - 4°C (lyophilized).
