Anti-Human Epidermal Growth Factor
Anti-human EGF antiserum is a polyclonal antiserum specific for human EGF. This antiserum is suitable for use in radioimmunoassay, immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation and immunohistochemistry. The antiserum is derived from rabbit and was raised against human recombinant EGF. The antiserum is specific for human EGF. Cross-reactivity with LongTM human EGF is 56%, mouse EGF <0.01%, human TGF alpha< 0.01% and LongTM [R3]IGF-I <0.01%. Titre: At a final dilution of 1/500,000, the antiserum binds 30% of fresh [125I]-labelled human EGF tracer. Half-maximal inhibition (ED50) of radioligand binding is produced by 1.4 ng of human EGF.
