Description: Anti-bovine betacellulin antiserum is a polyclonal antiserum obtained from rabbits immunized with recombinant bovine betacellulin. This antiserum has been characterized for radioimmunoassays (RIA) and Western immunoblotting.

Quantity: 100 µl of lyophilized serum.

Specificity: Cross-reactivity with rat betacellulin is <1%. No crossreactivity is found with human EGF or human TGF-a.
Titre: The antiserum can be used at a dilution of 1/30,000 for RIA. Half-maximal inhibition (ED50) of radioligand binding is produced by 0.6 ng/ml of bovine betacellulin. For Western immunoblotting, the antiserum can be used at a dilution of 1/1,000.
Reconstitution: Dissolve in 100 µl sterile water.
Storage/Stability: At least 2 years at 2 -4°C (lyophilized). After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
