PAZ1 Anti-human IGFBP-5 Polyclonal Antiserum Specifications
Anti-human IGFBP-5 antiserum is a polyclonal antiserum obtained from rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide of unique sequence corresponding to amino acids 154-168 (Zapf, J. (1995) Eur. J. Endocrinol. 132, 645-654) from the central domain of human IGFBP-5.
This antiserum has been characterized for Enzyme Immunoassays (EIA).
Quantity: 100 µl of lyophilized serum. Specificity: The antiserum is specific for human IGFBP-5. No crossreactivity is found with human IGFBPs (1,2,3,4,and -6). Titre: Can be used at a dilution of 1/15,000 for EIA. Half-maximal inhibition (ED50) is produced by 30 ng hIGFBP-5 / 100µl. It is anticipated that the antiserum can be used at a dilution of 1/1,000 for Western blotting. Reconstitution: Dissolve in 100 µl sterile water. Storage/Stability: At least 2 years at 2 -4°C (lyophilized). After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
