Description: Mouse monoclonal antibody IgG fraction (clone 4B11/E9) obtained by immunizing mice with two Chilean isolates of Vibrio ordalii (whole bacterial cells). The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
Isotype: IgG1.
Storage: Store at -20ºC.
Stability: Stable at least one year at -20ºC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Applications: This antibody recognizes specifically V.ordalii and can be used in ELISA (1: 8,000 dilution), Western Blot (1: 2,000 dilution), and indirect immunofluorescence (1: 2,000 dilution) assays. Vibrio ordalii is a Gram-negative, short curve rod-shaped, motile by single polar flagellum and facultative anaerobic bacterium. It is the causative agent of vibriosis which is characterized by the presence of skin lesions, haemorrhaging ulcers, serious leukopenia and a high mortality in salmonid and non-salmonid species.
Formulation: Solution at 0.5 mg/ml in PBS.
