Description: Mouse monoclonal antibody IgG fraction (clone 4F1/H2) obtained by immunizing mice with whole cells of Vibrio anguillarum (ATCC 14181). The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
Isotype: IgG2b.
Storage: Store at -20ºC.
Stability: Stable at least one year at -20ºC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Applications: This antibody can be used in ELISA (1: 4,000 dilution), Western blot (1: 1,000 dilution), and indirect immunoflurescence (1: 2,000 dilution) assays. Vibrio anguillarum is a Gram-negative, curve rod-shaped, motile by a single polar flagellum and facultative anaerobic bacterium. It is the causative agent of vibriosis which is characterized by a terminal haemorrhagic septicemia and is associated with high mortality rates in salmonids and non-salmonids species. Different serovars of V.anguillarum have been described as O1 though O23, serovars O1 and O2 are those most often found in fish diseases.
Formulation: Solution at 1.0 mg/mL in PBS.
