Description: Mouse monoclonal antibody IgG fraction (clone 7G4/D9) obtained by immunizing mice with purified P. salmonis. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
Isotype: IgG2b.
Storage: Store at -20ºC.
Stability: Stable at least one year at -20ºC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Applications:This antibody can be used in ELISA (1:1,000 dilution), Western blot (1:1,000 dilution), and indirect immunofluorescence (1:500). Piscirickettsia salmonis is a Gram-negative obligate intracellular bacterium found in cytoplasmic vacuoles of infected cells. It is pleiomorphic, predominantly coccoid bacterium that ranges in diameter from 0.5 to 1.5 ?m. P. salmonis belongs to a new family of Piscirickettsiae within the class of ?-proteobacteria and it is the etiological agent of salmonid rickettsial septicaemia (SRS) or piscirickettsiosis. This disease has been identified in salmonids and non salmonids species.
