Anti-Infectious Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHNV) rabbit polyclonal antibody
Clone 7G4/D9
Product specifications rabbit anti-Infectious Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHNV).polyclonal antibody:
Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody IgG fraction obtained by immunizing rabbits with two synthetic peptides corresponding to aa211-219 (DSSQEIKGH) and aa279-290 (KCEDKTVGMRGN) of the IHNV integral glycosilated protein or G protein. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
Storage: Store at -20ºC.
Stability: Stable at least one year at -20ºC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Applications: This polyclonal antibody reacts with the mixture of the above peptides in ELISA (1: 200 dilution) and Western blot (1: 1,000 dilution) assays. IHNV belongs to the genus Novirhabdovirus of the family Rhabdoviridae, its genome consists of a negative single-stranded RNA. The G protein is a type I transmembrane protein localized on the surface of the virus envelope and binds to specific receptors during the infection process. IHNV causes acute, systemic disease in salmonid fish characterized by rapid disease progression and high mortality with severe economical impact in North America.
Formulation: Solution at 1.0 mg/ml in PBS.
